Ok, I need some hints on fitting a minmatar assault at the basic and advance level. I currently only have the basic level. I can probably get advance today or tomorrow.
1) First of let me tell you what i use. I have basically 3 suits. gallente logi, minscout and caldari scout. I use these 3 for different purposes. Allow me to list them
a) the min scout I use for infiltration and as a droplink delivery system. I go in, i hack a few things and move on. I'm not very good at killing people with this suit although I do get a few guys here and there with the nova knife or as a fire support wit the CR.
b) caldari scout. This is my muscle guy. I use it when i need firepower. I have various configurations. One for quick movement. This one uses the shotgun. Another one for just shooting at things and try to get as many kills. I use the CR or the ARR depending on the mood. I usually forgo the cloack on this one as I use this suit as light infantry.
c) Gallente logi. This is my general support guy. I use it when in squad almost exclusively. This suit makes me BOCU war and SP points. I mean, a ridiculous amount of points. I use it to provide intel, heal comrades etc etc. Does well killing people but, not on its own. This is definitely NOT a solo fit.
2) Ok so now the need. The thing is that although my caldari scout who is suppose to be my slayer guy does well, I need a guy with more oohhmp. The cal is good to sneak around pop a guy and keep running but, if things get hairy he (she in my case) is done for. So I need something like the cal scout but with more survivability.
3) What does not work for me is the ammar assault. Too slow to move and regen. I prefer fast mobility and fast regen over vast amount of HP with slow mobility. That being said, I like firepower. I like the almost one shot kill of the shotgun or anything that can kill quick. I'm always amaze at how some people can obliterate suits with the scrambler rifle yet, when I use it I can't anybody.
Ok, so if you made it through that wall of text, and taking those parameters into account how would you configure the min assault? In short something along the lines of high firepower, fast mobility and fast regen. Survivability but, more of an improvement of my scout. |
